Conference report
On the 11th and 12th of November in Moscow the online international forum Wings of the Future 2020 was held. The region's key air transport event provided its participants with rare opportunity to discuss the prospects of civil aviation, to feel how the air transport industry lives, to communicate remotely with its leaders, with colleagues and friends.

The online format made it possible to significantly expand the audience of the Wings of the Future forum (in two days almost 800 air transport professionals, with a record number of representatives of airlines and airports took part in it), as well as to assemble a star team of speakers from around the world.

World air transport is undergoing an unseen crisis, unprecedented both for
reasons that lie entirely outside the economy and for the scale of its impact on the industry. Nobody knows what scenario for the further development of the industry is to be implemented in reality. But civil aviation does not remain a passive observer in this situation, it is an active participant instead. The transformation of the industry, for which the crisis turned out to be the most powerful driver, should serve as a springboard for future development. By discussing possible options and forming their own plans, participants of the air transport market themselves influence the choice of the future. This is precisely the mission of the 18th International Forum Wings of the Future.

Keynote speaker testimonials
I was looking to joining the Wings of the Future Forum, and my first ATO Conference. I just recently took responsibillity for Russia and the CIS in my new EMEA role. While we all look forward to having real meetings again, I am grateful for this opportunity to share some of my views on what I believe to be a market of enormous potential.
Cesar Pereira, Vice President EMEA for Embraer Commercial Aviations
Thank you for the invitation. It was my pleasure to participate, and I was impressed with the speaker line-up. It was interesting to hear their presentations. It is very important, that you provide an opportunity to watch the recordings after the event. This helps not to miss interesting interviews despite high workload."
Anton Galatenko, Director, Marketing and product quality department, Rossiya Airlines
In the current challenging situation, we continue to ficus on what we do best: keeping aircraft flying and providing the most reliable technical aircraft services to our customers. Not with standing the crisis, our airline customers can rely on Lufthansa Technik. We are happy to discuss their needs and dedicated solutions at this year's Wings of the Future Aviation Forum.
Dmitri Zaitsev, Regional Director for Eastern Europe and the CIS, Lufthansa Technik
This is one of the most notable events in the industry, useful for all participants in the aviation market in Russia and the CIS. An excellent platform for discussing current topics and exchanging views, including with renowned international experts.
Natalya Nikitina, Partner, Head of Aviation Practice, Moscow Office, White & Case
The conference just continues to build momentum, even in online format. The speaker line-up is impressive, as well as the audience in general. It was interesting to compare the opinions of representatives of different segments of the aviation market on the crisis that has hit the industry and the possible recovery prospects
